Boxer BBQ - Kitchen Staff
The kitchen staff is required to help complete all prep items for the day as well as complete customer orders in a timely manner. The kitchen staff is also required to keep their workstation and area clean as well as help clean and stock other areas of the kitchen. Kitchen staff work in all areas of the BOH, from helping smoke items to working fryers, salads, and plating.
An ideal employee would be someone that has an outgoing personality while being able to maintain professionalism. We do not have a very strict uniform guideline but do ask that employees look professional and that their attire, hygiene, and personal grooming are not distracting to customers. Experience is not required. Most days, this job is not fast-paced or in high demand. On those days extra cleaning in different areas of the restaurant will be assigned. On high volume nights, kitchen staff must be able to maintain a clean and organized work area, ensure food leaving the kitchen is correct, and help in all areas.
The current position is part-time, 3 to 4 evenings a week. Shifts start at 4 pm and typically end between 9:30 and 10:30. Weekend availability is required.'
